About SEI
Established in 1996, the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) advances members' careers, stimulates technological advancement, and improves professional practice. SEI drives the practical application of cutting edge research by improving coordination and understanding between academia and practicing engineers.
SEI is led by the SEI Board of Governors and governed by the SEI Bylaws. The Board of Governors is responsible for achieving the SEI Vision as detailed in the SEI Annual Report 2018.

Student Scholarship Program
The Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) of East Central Florida is offering a $1,500 scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year.
