GEO INSTITUTE

The Geo-Institute (G-I) is a specialty membership organization focused on geo-professionals and the geo-industry. It is one of the American Society of Civil Engineer's eight specialty institutes. The Geo-institute was created by the ASCE in October 1996 and is led by a Board of Governors guided by its Long-Term Strategic Plan, and the support of numerous member volunteers like you at the technical and administrative levels. The vision and mission of the Geo Institute is to guide the geoprofession to new frontiers to better serve society by advancing the geoprofession and enhancing the value of geoprofessionals guided by the 2023-2027 G-I Strategic Plan. Here at the East Central Branch Geo Institute, our goal is to further the vision, mission and strategic plan of the national G-I by hosting quarterly social events and technical lunches.

If you would like information on how you can get involved in the East Central Branch G-I and information on upcoming events please subscribe to the G-I email list.
