The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University student chapter is a small group yet powerful in bringing the university’s civil engineering students together, as well as other majors. For students, the chapter serves to cultivate long lasting relationships with fellow students and faculty alike. These relationships are strengthened through projects, field trips, community outreach, and socials. Students are also given the opportunity to learn from and network with professionals at guest speaker events and by attending conferences. Their ever-growing department and student chapter work together to make an impact on campus and the Daytona Beach area.

About ERAU Student Chapter

At Embry-Riddle ASCE, we strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where students can thrive and excel. Through a wide range of activities and events, we aim to enhance our members' knowledge, skills, and connections in the field of civil engineering. From technical workshops and guest lectures to hands-on projects and site visits, we offer diverse opportunities to supplement classroom learning and gain practical experience.

We believe in the power of collaboration and teamwork, and our student chapter encourages active participation and leadership development. By engaging in group projects, competitions, and industry-sponsored events, our members enhance their problem-solving abilities and cultivate strong professional relationships that extend beyond the university.

Beyond academic pursuits, community involvement holds a special place in our chapter's values. We actively seek opportunities to make a positive impact through volunteer initiatives, sustainability projects, and outreach programs. We believe in giving back to society and being responsible stewards of our profession.

"Our student chapter is made up of dedicated individuals, and our hard work was showcased at the 2025 Southeast Student Symposium held in Athens, Georgia. For the second consecutive year, our university earned the Overall Small School title. Additionally, we secured first place in the Geowall competition and third in the Construction Institute competition." - Beatrice Ribeiro, President 2023 - 2025
